Gymnasium Addition: Project consisted of a 33,315 sf addition for a new gymnasium and support space. Project identifies our ability to work with both MNPS and the school to achieve a design that addressed the proposed scope of work on a very tight site while dealing with the challenges of tying into a historical structure. This project was designed for LEED Silver and is currently in the certification process.
Renovation: Project consisted of a 193,204 sf renovation to one of Metro Nashville Public Schools oldest historical structures. Project consisted of everything from relocating the Library, Art Suite, Administrative Offices and Guidance Offices, to renovating the Auditorium and reworking almost all classrooms. This work lasted for two years as the building remained operational. The renovation was designed for LEED Silver certification. We worked with MNPS’ LEED Consultant. This project was one of the more complicated projects that we have completed due to the age of the building, unknown conditions that were not documented over the years and having to maintain operations throughout construction.
