Kline Swinney Associates was honored to join Tennessee State University to celebrate the official groundbreaking of the new College of Agriculture complex—a visionary step forward in advancing agricultural education, research, and outreach in Tennessee.
Held on TSU’s campus, the event marked the beginning of a transformational project that will serve as the new home for the Departments of Food and Animal Sciences and Environmental Sciences. Remarks were shared by Dr. Chandra Reddy, Dean of the College of Agriculture; TSU Board Chair Dwayne Tucker; university leadership; members of the Tennessee Legislature; and representatives from the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, Tennessee Farm Bureau, and the College of Agriculture Advisory Board.
The planned facility will span more than 110,000 square feet and support TSU’s land-grant mission through state-of-the-art teaching, research, and extension spaces. Program elements include 35 faculty offices, 23 research labs, 17 teaching labs, four classrooms, and a large multipurpose room to support a range of academic and outreach functions.
Kline Swinney Associates is proud to serve as the design architect for this important project in collaboration with Grace Orcutt | Winslow.
We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to partner with TSU in creating a space that will inspire the next generation of agricultural and environmental leaders.
Congratulations to the entire TSU community on this exciting milestone!
