Bart Kline has served as Principal-in-Charge at Kline Swinney Associates since 2017, leading projects ranging from small-scale renovations to large institutional and public-sector developments. A second-generation architect with a background in construction, Bart was introduced to his father’s drafting table at a young age, learning to write specifications before he could even spell his own name. He grew up collaborating with his parents, both deeply rooted in architecture and design, and this early immersion sparked a lasting passion for the field, including the opportunity to study abroad in Rome, Italy.
Bart has been part of KSA since his teenage years, steadily progressing from intern to Principal Architect and Partner, continuing his father’s legacy within the firm. Over the course of his career, he has directed consultant teams of more than 20 members and brings extensive experience with correctional, justice, and state facilities.
An active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), Bart is involved in all facets of the practice. He manages clients, oversees projects, and contributes to drafting, designing, and master planning. He is directly responsible for production, cost estimating, scheduling, bidding, and contract negotiations. Known for his disciplined work ethic, Bart is recognized for balancing efficiency with precision and is deeply committed to delivering thoughtful, secure, and high-performance architectural solutions that meet client goals on time and within budget.
Tim Piansay brings over two decades of experience in design, documentation, and project delivery, with a strong background in construction and restoration. Combining practical buildability knowledge with a commitment to quality assurance, Tim ensures that every project is executed with technical accuracy and consistency across all phases.
As Principal-in-Charge at Kline Swinney Associates, Tim manages large, complex projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet client goals on time and within budget. His dedication to design integrity, clear communication, and thoughtful problem-solving makes him a trusted leader on every project.
Tim holds a degree from the University of Tennessee School of Architecture and began his career gaining hands-on experience with a developer, refining his expertise across all facets of the building process. He is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). Outside of the office, he is a devoted family man and enjoys time with his wife, three children, and their dog, Patch.

When she’s not at work, you’ll often find her and her husband embarking on boating adventures, traveling, or basking in the sun on Florida’s stunning beaches. April’s adventurous nature drives her to seize every opportunity to explore and enjoy the city.

Cullen Andersen is a committed architect who approaches each project as a unique puzzle to solve, driven by his passion for problem-solving. Hailing from Woodstock, Illinois, Cullen’s architectural path began at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, inspired by a lifelong love for Legos, drawing, and the endless possibilities of design.
With six years of experience in Chicago, Cullen has contributed to a wide array of projects, including multi-family residences, higher education facilities, commercial offices, healthcare spaces, municipal buildings, and recreational areas.
Cullen places a strong emphasis on high-quality construction, applying building science principles to develop structures that endure over time. As a designer, he focuses on resilience to environmental factors, occupant well-being, and maintaining aesthetic quality.
A fun fact about Cullen?
He once had the opportunity to meet Queen Noor of Jordan and was required to refer to her as “her highness.”
Jeremiah Anyaele is a registered Architect who holds a Master’s degree in Architecture. Hailing from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he discovered his passion for residential architecture, healthcare design, and historic preservation. Jeremiah has gained extensive experience by collaborating with Principal Architects throughout all stages of the design process.
During weekends, he enjoys wandering through the city with his camera or venturing into the countryside to capture the beauty of the stars. He is currently in the process of learning to play the ukulele.
Joey, a distinguished alumnus of Mississippi State University, contributes over 25 years of valuable experience to KSA. His extensive background includes various projects such as senior living facilities and higher education initiatives, highlighting his deep knowledge and insightful perspective in the industry. With a strong passion for mid-century modern and deconstruction architectural styles, Joey found his professional path through drafting classes he attended in high school.
Additionally, he is an avid history enthusiast, particularly in the realms of architecture and genealogy.
Before relocating to KSA, Ron ran an architecture firm in New York for over 30 years, focusing on commercial, institutional, residential, and municipal projects. His extensive professional services encompassed initial project programming, schematic design, development, construction plans and specifications, construction management, and contract administration.
When he’s not spending quality time with his wife, Ron enjoys reading, cooking, or exploring new topics.

Jacob is a graduate from Middle Tennessee State University, where he earned a degree in Interior Design. During his time in school, he wisely took on the role of a tutor in his major, offering classes and digital resources to fellow students. His internship at MTSU’s Construction and Renovation department with Facilities Services has given him valuable insights into building design, as well as experience in creating As-Builts and developing unique design solutions. Jacob is passionate about problem-solving and research, which drives him to explore the nuances of Architecture and Design.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling to new destinations on his unicycle.
Fady comes from Egypt, a country steeped in the rich legacy of ancient architecture, which includes stunning structures such as the ancient Coptic Churches. Surrounded by these historical marvels during his upbringing, Fady was continuously inspired by the extraordinary achievements of those who built these lasting monuments. Their impressive work sparked a deep passion within him to pursue a career in architecture.
In addition to his architectural endeavors, Fady is also the office’s talented photographer. We frequently rely on him to capture images of our projects in the field, employing both his camera and drone to provide breathtaking viewpoints.
Around the office, he is affectionately referred to as KSA’s Revit and Lumion Guru.
