This new school focuses on the safety of all faculty, staff, and students, and economical design in order to provide a facility that fosters student interaction and education. Central East will include a gymnasium, auditorium, media center, cafeteria, kitchen, and 36 classrooms. There will also be three sports fields, dedicated bus parking with drop off, dedicated car pick up and drop off lanes, as well as 400+ parking spaces. Construction consists of a two story load-bearing masonry structure with light gauge metal roof trusses and pre-cast concrete core deck at the second floor. This project implements geothermal HVAC, LED lighting, direct digital controls, and collaboration spaces to enhance student interaction.
