This project involved the transformation of a former private Christian student center into a state-of-the-art student health center for Austin Peay State University. Kline Swinney Associates reconfigured the main floor from a large open space into a fully functional healthcare clinic and outpatient facility, incorporating offices, labs, exam rooms, a reception area, a break room, and a conference room.
The renovation included selective demolition of interior and exterior elements, installation of new structural beams below the roof trusses, and the addition of new interior walls, finishes, and lighting. Mechanical upgrades involved reworking plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems, ensuring the facility meets modern healthcare standards while providing a welcoming and efficient environment for students.
