This new school focused on the safety of all faculty, staff, and students, and economical design to provide a facility that fostered student interaction and education. Legacy included a gymnasium, auditorium, media center, cafeteria, kitchen, and 36 classrooms. There were also three sports fields, dedicated bus parking with drop-off, dedicated car pick-up and drop-off lanes, as well as 400+ parking spaces. Construction consisted of a two-story load-bearing masonry structure with light gauge metal roof trusses and a pre-cast concrete core deck on the second floor. This project implemented geothermal HVAC, LED lighting, direct digital controls, and collaboration spaces to enhance student interaction.
