KSA completed a Regional Campus for TDOT. This project was sited on a 75-acre site and includes 16 separate building structures, including an administration building, lab building, field office buildings, maintenance department building, multiple workshops, warehouses, and large bay garages. The facilities and site were designed to facilitate seven distinct departments within TDOT that facilitate Region 2 for the State of Tennessee. The buildings were designed with maintenance and longevity being of the utmost importance. Most of the buildings’ exterior skins consist of tilt-up insulated concrete panels. The HVAC design employs vertical geothermal wells. Work includes site improvements to approximately 70+/- acres with roads, parking, sidewalks, grading, site lighting, fencing, etc.
