The Buffalo Ridge Hunter Education Facility features four outdoor range venues, a hunter education building, and a restroom facility, complemented by extensive site improvements including grading, pond expansion, and installation of water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and natural gas systems, as well as asphalt paving for improved accessibility. The range structures are wood-framed, open pavilion-style buildings with standing seam metal roofs.
The hunter education and restroom buildings feature CMU foundations, wood-framed walls and roofs, and coordinated exterior finishes including stone veneer, fiber cement siding, and standing seam metal roofs. The design emphasizes durability, functionality, and architectural cohesion to effectively serve hunters, educators, and visitors.
