The 115-acre campus for the Police and Nashville Fire Academies is outdated and inefficient, requiring repairs and demolition.

Past master planning by the Department of General Services aimed to consolidate the two entities into a central academic building. The project has initiated end-user meetings to assess facility needs and existing conditions.

The design team has completed the research phase of a three-phase contract, producing an updated Master Plan, budget estimates for funding requests, and a proposed phasing plan. This project is part of Nashville’s five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for design services, including site planning and minor renovations.
