MEET KSA’S NEW MEMBER OF THE TEAM!

Timothy “Tim” Hefler joined Kline Swinney Associates with both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. His fascination with architecture began at a young age, sparked by watching buildings take shape and wondering why they were designed the way they were. That early curiosity grew into a lifelong passion for creating meaningful spaces that bring people together.

Much of Tim’s professional experience has centered around educational facilities, where he finds fulfillment in designing environments that support learning and foster community. He enjoys the process of seeing ideas evolve into tangible spaces that will serve and inspire generations to come.

Outside of the office, Tim enjoys photography and often spends his free time hiking or exploring new places with his camera. He’s also a certified scuba diver, a hobby that began while studying abroad in Australia after his first dive in the Great Barrier Reef.
