Meet KSA’s Newest Architectural Associate!
KSA is thrilled to introduce you to Rachel, a dynamic individual with a passion for both architecture and connecting with people from diverse walks of life. Hailing from the picturesque town of Fayetteville, West Virginia, Rachel’s journey into the realm of architecture was inspired by her early love for set design in community theater. The allure of problem-solving and creating meaningful spaces drove her to envision a career where she could craft environments that profoundly impact people’s daily experiences.
What sets Rachel apart is not only her dedication to architecture but also her genuine empathy and commitment to serving the community. Prior to embarking on her architectural journey, Rachel spent two impactful years as a missionary, engaging with and listening to the stories of the less privileged, igniting a passion for human connection. This compassion for others extends beyond her professional interests, evident in her love for interacting with the homeless and advocating for the impoverished. In her free time, you’ll find Rachel delighting in activities ranging from baking and hiking to playing board games and discussing her beloved West Virginian and Sicilian heritage.
Rachel’s zest for life doesn’t stop at architecture; it branches into her love for coffee, fine dining, and dream of becoming a sommelier. Her adoration for midcentury modern architecture and sacred designs reflects her keen eye for aesthetic elegance. And as a devout fan of Charles Wesley Godwin, a country singer from her beloved West Virginia, she’s got the soundtrack to her architectural dreams set on the perfect tune. So, let’s embark on this architectural adventure with Rachel as she creates spaces that intertwine her passions and compassion, leaving a lasting mark on both the built environment and the lives of those she encounters.
