The Rutherford County Regional Forensic Center and the Smyrna EMS Building together form a modern, purpose-built expansion of the County’s public safety campus along Weakly Lane. Designed to enhance emergency response, investigative capabilities, and community support, these two facilities strengthen the County’s operational network while delivering a cohesive architectural presence.
The Regional Forensic Center, currently under construction, is a state-of-the-art facility designed to serve Rutherford County and surrounding communities. It provides a dignified, local setting for families during some of their most difficult moments, eliminating the need to travel to Nashville. The center also improves law enforcement effi ciency by offering a fully equipped, conveniently located environment for investigations and interagency collaboration.
Adjacent to the center, the new two-bay Smyrna EMS Building supports the community’s growing emergency medical needs by improving response times and providing a highly functional base for EMS operations. Its exterior, featuring a combination of brick and metal paneling, mirrors the Forensic Center’s material palette to create a unified aesthetic across the County’s expanding public safety campus.
